Chris knew from the age of 14 that he wanted to be an actor and performer. Although the idea was shot down in flames when presented to his parents, it did little to dampen the dream and desire to perform.

He dabbled a little in stage, film and commercials but never fully realized the love of the game until he moved to New York, and was “forced” to join the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in 2005 by his unbelievably supportive wife. “The experience changed absolutely every aspect of my life and liberated me from a very real prison", says Chris.

One of the many pleasant “side effects” of this liberation was to realise his other dreams and aspirations, namely music, writing, and art. He is vice president and artistic director of a fledgling production company called “Speak EZ”, which was started by his business partner Suzanne Ventura. Together they create powerful and engaging MTV-style DVD and Internet based curriculum for ESL programs in the US.

He also recently launched a website for his collection of African artwork. The web address is www.africarts.net.
